Sandpiper

In Literature class we had been analyzing the a story called Sandpiper. This is the story about a woman that after marrying and having a child she lost all of her freedom.
The story is called like that due to a bird species. This bird specie is hybrid, which mean that it can have a relationship with other species. This is analogy of her marrying her husband that is from another culture.
Also this specie of birds live in the shore, as well as the main character. This bird is not colorful at all, this can be seen as sad or lonely as the main character is. The Sandpipers have narrow wings, that usually represents freedom, something she lacks
